Welcome to Bananaquit – Helpful Information for Your Stay
We’re so happy to have you with us! Below are a few friendly pointers to help make your stay smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. If you ever need anything, our team is just a message or quick visit away.
Reception Hours
Our team is here to assist you between 10 AM and 3 PM each day. This is the best time to stop by with any questions, requests, or to arrange activities and services.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: From 3 PM
- Check-out: By 11 AM
Need to arrive earlier or stay a little later? Just let us know in advance—we’ll do our best to accommodate (small additional fees may apply).
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is collected at check-in to cover any accidental damages, missing items, or minibar drinks.
- Fastest option: A credit card hold—released immediately upon departure with no fees or delays.
- Alternative: Bank transfer refunds are available but incur a TT$5 handling fee and may take a few days to process.
Valuables & Room Security
For your peace of mind, a secure safe is available at reception for valuables. While we do everything possible to maintain a safe environment, Bananaquit cannot take responsibility for lost or stolen items left unattended in rooms.
Housekeeping & Comfort
- Rooms are cleaned regularly, and we provide complimentary hotel soap and toilet paper on arrival.
- Need an iron? Just ask during reception hours.
- Linen and towels are changed for stays longer than three nights ( if desired additional changes can be arranged for a small fee).
- Beach towels are available for rent at reception.
A Few Friendly Reminders
We want everyone to enjoy a comfortable and eco-friendly stay:
- Please switch off air conditioning and lights when you’re out for the day.
- Keep windows and doors closed when the A/C is on (especially when cooking).
- Use the outdoor shower or foot bath to rinse off sand before coming inside.
- Wash off sunscreen before using towels and linens to avoid extra cleaning fees.
- Smoking is not permitted in rooms.
- Please avoid eating in bed to protect linens.
Visitors & Peaceful Stays
- All overnight guests must be registered at reception. Non-registered overnight guests may incur a fee.
- Visitors are welcome but should depart by 10 PM.
- For everyone’s comfort, please keep noise to a minimum between 10 PM and 10 AM.
Parking
We offer free parking onsite, but spaces are limited during peak periods and are first come, first served.
Our Commitment to the Environment
As a Green Key certified property, we care deeply about sustainability. Please help us conserve by recycling and using energy responsibly. Glass and plastic bins are provided, and we recommend setting A/C to around 20°C for efficiency.
